- Do not worry about learning Blackjack basic strategy. “Blackjack is a game of luck that cannot be beaten”. It’s probably best to rely on your feelings or hunches.
- Mimic the Blackjack dealer. Just play like the dealer does – hit on 16 and stand on 17. “If it’s good enough for the dealer, it’s good enough for me (50-50, right)??"
- Pay no attention to the Blackjack cards. Just make sure to buy Blackjack insurance when the dealer says so. Maybe you should also buy other types of insurance too – like pet insurance, end-of-the-world insurance, spontaneous combustion insurance or maybe you could invest in a few acres of moon land (it’s quite inexpensive right now).
- Bet it all! Try to chase a loss by doubling up on bets, hitting the bank machine or credit cards for more cash and do not leave the casino until you are broke. Yes, the fancy lights, well-dressed dealers and neon signs must have been bought with all the winners’ money.
- Just play with a little money, because you are scared to lose. Sit down at a Blackjack table severely under-funded because you will probably win each of the first few bets you make! - All right, I agree with the following statement: “It’s better to be lucky than good”.
